SOPHIA SÜßMILCH: THE AWKWARD HUG
Sophia Süßmilch's performance "The Awkward Hug" comes to Düsseldorf
The awkward hug - a monument to the awkward huggers among us - is coming to Düsseldorf! The performance by Sophia SÜSSMILCH was already shown at Brutus in Rotterdam in June and will be performed on 30 August as part of the exhibition ‘Too Much Future. Donation Florian Peters-Messer’ at the Kunstpalast. We are looking forward to the showmastering by Felix Maria Zeppenfeld, the four jurors Jelisa Hermann, Isabel Trimborn, Lil Miu Miller and Felix Burger and, of course, Sophia's performance. The audience also plays an important role and there are 3 prizes - original works of art by Sophia SÜSSMILCH - for the 3 winners of the weirdest hugs.
Admission to the exhibition is free from 6pm. The performance starts at 6.30 pm in the ERGO foyer. Registration is not required.
